The wine shows an intense ruby colour. The nose is dense, opening up with nuances of ripe red and black cherries, a touch of crushed blackberries and bramble, a hint of sweet spices. The palate is opulent with intense fruit concentration, a serious oak imprint, high alcohol, elevated acidity, a touch of oak bitterness compensated by the sweetness of fruit. The wine reveals nuances of ripe forest raspberries, bramble and strawberry compote with framing notes of cinnamon and cloves. Concentrated and long finish. A very bold, massive wine.
