Domaine Moulin Tacussel 2018 – Châteauneuf-du-Pape

The nose is racy and offers a small intensity and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small crunchy wild berries, small notes of violet/iris associated with small touches of cherry blossom, cherry as well as fine touches of garrigue, lavender, fleshy blueberry and very fine hints of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers gourmandize, a beautiful pulpy/juicy fruit, a fine concentration, a fine tension, a fine acidulous frame as well as a fine minerality, a small suavity and a fine fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy cassis, small notes of crunchy wild strawberry associated with touches of crunchy cherry, cherry blossom, lavender as well as fine hints of garrigue, dry tobacco leaf, a subtle hint of liquorice and sweet spices. Good length.
