The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers a juicy, gourmand fruitiness, even slightly sweet thanks to the notes of vanilla and morello cherry in chocolate, which complete the first nose. We also find notes of juicy red cherry, fresh raspberry, crushed blueberry and blackcurrant in the background. After aeration, the wine expresses refreshing notes of liquorice, mint, a very light hint of star anise, as well as sap, toasted hazelnut and fresh wood in the background. The palate is juicy, fruity and offers a lot of freshness and a tanginess of fruit. It expresses the flavors of red cherry, raspberry, cranberries, fresh red currants, as well as blueberry and blackcurrant in the background. In the mid-palate, we also find notes of liquorice, nutmeg, toast (even coffee and cocoa), as well as dried mint, sap in the background and rose petals. Beautiful acidity that gives the wine a fresh and chiseled structure. Tannins are powdery and fine. The finish is quite persistent, tasty and fresh, on ripe tangy fruits (red cherry, raspberry). A slender and elegant wine.
