The wine has a pale ruby colour, with a light garnet tinge. The first nose is delicate – the wine benefits from aeration. It expresses notes of red and black fruits (wild strawberry, dried strawberry, red cherry, dried cranberry, blueberry, raspberry), a subtle note of leather and toast in the background as well as herbal touches (dried mint, tea leaf) and spices (liquorice, nutmeg, clove). On the palate, the wine expresses delicacy and lightness, a juicy fruity side (crushed strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, blueberry, blackcurrant, elderberry), accompanied by herbaceous touches (peppermint, tea leaf, tobacco) and spices (liquorice, nutmeg, clove). The finish is persistent and expresses more of a fruity side with a fine note of leather and smoke in the background. The tannins are structured and fine. A wine with delicacy and a good grip.
