The nose is fruity, aromatic and quite elegant. It reveals notes of ripe red fruit (wild strawberry …) and blackberry combined with slight notes of flowers, cassis, spice, leather, Ceylon tea as well as slight oaky notes and a touch of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, fat, round, complex, silky, ample, quite gourmand and offers a light smoothness and a certain precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry and crushed strawberry associated with touches of plum, fig, violet as well as a slight oaky notes. Tannins are well-built and fine. Good length and persistence.
