The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is fragrant, fresh and airy, with a tangy citrus structure (lemon zest, lemon juice, a hint of lime), green fruits (green apple, green plum), white flowers (acacia, apple blossom, dried linden) and an expressive racy minerality (limestone, smoke, reminiscent of flint). The palate expresses a lively, tangy, slightly bitter (grapefruit) and mineral (limestone, flint) attack. We then find flavors of fresh citrus (lemon, lime), green apple and tangy green plum. The finish is quite persistent and sapid, and adds a sweet touch of gooseberries to the wine’s profile. Nice acidity, salivating and chiseled.
