Domaine Marsoif – Fût de Chêne 2019 – Bourgogne

The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize as well as a fine creaminess. It reveals notes of fleshy/creamy blackberry, fleshy strawberry, small notes of violet, crushed plum as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, fresh mild tobacco and very fine hints of chocolate. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers elegance, gourmandize, precision as well as a good definition of the fruit, suavity/roundness and dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/bright cassis, pulpy blackberry, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of bright questch plum as well as hints of vanilla, violet, liquorice, fresh flowers and very fine hints of chocolate. Tannins are well-built and smooth. A wine on the fruit, gourmand, pulpy and well-built.
