The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers tangy and fresh aromas, with a certain concentration of fruit. It expresses notes of ripe blackcurrant, morello cherry, bird cherry, fresh wild strawberry, crushed strawberry, raspberry coulis (after aeration), as well as subtle touches of sweet spices (liquorice, white pepper in the background) and a discreet note of dark chocolate. The palate offers a silky attack, with a certain chewiness and gourmet fruit. It expresses the flavors of bird cherry with its tannic side, morello cherry, tangy blackcurrant, strawberry, crushed raspberry and black plum, associated with touches of liquorice, white pepper and smoke on the persistence. The tannins are tight, slightly grippy. Good bitterness and a salivating acidity on the persistence.
