The nose is fruity, elegant and nicely rich. It reveals notes of redcurrant cream, cherry and slight notes of small plum associated with discreet hints of chocolate, cardamom and toasted oak/caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, elegant, racy, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame and finesse. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, raspberry and slight notes of cherry, plum associated with hints of toasted oak as well as a discreet hint of cardamom and sweet spices. Tannins are well-built and slightly dusty. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of chocolate on the persistence.
