Domaine Louis Latour – Domaine Latour 2023 – AOC Beaune Premier Cru

The wine has a beautiful, bright cherry color. The initial nose is fresh with notes of fresh fig, crisp strawberry, vanilla, and white pepper. The second nose opens with a beautiful, racy minerality, minty freshness, and a hint of dried tomato. But above all, a hint of fresh strawberry coulis. The palate is fresh, fruity, and floral with fresh strawberry, morello cherry, and peony. The tannins are present, licorice-like until the finish. We then find more blue and black fruits like juicy black cherry and blackberry. There is a slight salinity and good length. This is a complex wine with a well-integrated toasted note and a pleasant, velvety texture.
