The nose is fruity and offers a certain tension as well as a slightly tight grain. It reveals notes of wild raspberry, bright strawberry and small notes of violet, cornflowers associated with a touch of morello cherry, blueberry as well as a subtle hint of minerality, tobacco, a discreet hint of sweet spices/ toasted. The palate is fruity, mineral, tightening and offers freshness, tension, energy, a nice juiciness / acidity of the fruit as well as an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/juicy raspberry, bright/tangy cherry and small notes of fresh/juicy blueberry associated with a touch of cassis, violet, cardamom as well as fine hints of toasted oak. A discreet hint of good bitterness on the finish/persistence. Tannins are finely marked.
