The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fruity and gourmand, with sweet notes of red fruit jam, refreshed by a pleasant menthol hint. It expresses notes of morello cherry, dried blackcurrant (with a hint of blackcurrant jam), tangy strawberry, raspberry, red cherry and morello cherry, combined with aromas of peppermint, rosemary, as well as red plum and crushed black fig (after aeration) and a fine floral bouquet (violet, peony, lily). The palate is gourmand and fruity, with the same sweet touch of red fruit jam. It expresses notes of fresh ripe morello cherry, red cherry jam, crushed blackberry, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis and crushed fig, combined with notes of rosemary, peppermint, white pepper (in the background), dried pine needles and violet. The finish is fresh and tangy, with notes of raspberry and red cherry, as well as a delicate bitterness. The tannins are fine, slightly grippy, but integrated into a juicy material. Beautiful acidity and gourmandise. The finish is moderately persistent.
