The nose is fruity, structured and offers a slight gourmandise / generosity as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, raspberry and subtle hints of crushed red berries associated with discreet woody hints, chocolate / mocha as well as discreet hints of vanilla (in the background) and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight, slightly concentrated/powerful and offers a nice mineral frame (racy minerality), a slight acidity, juiciness, a nice fat, fleshiness, a good definition and gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, wild strawberry and redcurrant combined with slight touches of dark chocolate, toasted / caramelized touches as well as a hint of vanilla and an imperceptible touch of cardamom. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of pepper on the finish (background) / aftertaste.
