Domaine Les Guignottes Maranges « Les Saugeot » 2023 – Maranges

The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is lively, tangy, and fruity. It expresses notes of tart cherry, cranberry, raspberry, and cassis, associated with notes of cassis, cassis leaf, as well as liquorice, violet, and a sappy touch. The palate is tangy and juicy, with a purely fruity attack (with notes of crushed raspberry, red cherry, cassis, and cranberry). Then, we find notes of liquorice, a hint of toast and pepper (toasted hazelnut, white pepper), and a delicate herbal touch (dried cassis leaf). Tannins are well-structured, with a fine texture. The finish is fresh, tangy, and quite persistent. A gourmand and accessible wine.
