The nose is fruity, racy and offers precision as well as a very fine straigthness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small pulpy fruits, small notes of dry ground (terroir), a racy minerality associated with small touches of strawberry as well as discreet hints of rosemary, thyme flowers and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy and offers a good definition, suavity, fullness, a certain sweetness/delicacy, a fine mineral frame as well as suppleness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright bigarreau cherry, pulpy blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of small pulpy fruits, liquorice, thyme flowers as well as fine hints of sage, a racy minerality, sweet spices, almond and a very discreet hint of chocolate (in the background). Tannins are fine and supple.
