The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The first nose expresses smoky, meaty and leather notes, which transform into notes of sweet spices (nutmeg, liquorice, cloves) and chocolate after aeration. We also find an expressive minerality (dry stone, graphite), a fragrant floral bouquet (dried rose, iris, violet in the background) and juicy fruits (morello cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry, cranberry jam, blackcurrant, black plum ), complemented by a herbaceous touch (dried thyme, rosemary). The palate is airy and juicy, but offers good concentration, density and soft, fine tannins. It expresses the flavors of juicy morello cherry, crushed wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, roasted red cherry, as well as a gourmet touch of prunes in chocolate. We also find notes of roasted aromatic herbs (roasted thyme, roasted rosemary), dried mint, a sweet floral touch (peony, dried rose), as well as a touch of torrefaction (coffee, toasted hazelnut) and bitter cocoa. . The finish is persistent, sapid and gpurmand (even slightly sweet in its notes of chocolate and prunes), balanced by a supple, but refreshing acidity.
