The nose is elegant, beautifully built, finely tight and offers power (full of delicacy), intensity, complexity and a small deepness. It reveals notes of small crunchy/juicy berries, wild blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of small blue fruits, lilac, crushed raspberry as well as fine hints of garrigue, mild tobacco, a subtle hint of saffron and cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very finely tight and offers a beautiful definition, gourmandize, a small aerial side, a very fine creaminess as well as a fine straightness and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed strawberry, crushed raspberry, small candied blue fruits as well as fine hints of lilac, black olive, toasted, caramelized oak, a subtle hint of saffron (in the background) and a very discreet hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are elegant and racy. A subtle hint of vanilla, toasted hazelnut and an imperceptible hint of bitterness on the persistence.
