A ruby cherry colour. The nose has a certain aromatic depth, with spices, in particular black pepper, and fruit, such as blackcurrants, blackberries and strawberries. Full-bodied on the palate, with cherries and plums on the attack. The spicy character completes the mid-palate, gradually building in intensity. A hint of liquorice is complicated by nuances of black pepper and cedar, adding depth and a welcome freshness to the finish.
