Domaine La Sapiniere – Lovelie 2024 – IGP Cité de Carcassonne

The nose is fresh, aromatic and offers a taut side as well as minerality. We find notes of fresh mirabelle plum, cape gooseberry and small notes of, small, quite fresh yellow fruits associated with hints of ripe/fresh citrus, crispy white peach and discreet hints of acacia. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a tangy frame, tension, energy, a good definition, precision, suppleness, energy, mastery and racy minerality. It expresses notes of small juicy/fresh yellow berries, cape gooseberry and small notes of fresh kumquat associated with touches of zest, fine almost sage/fresh acacia hints as well as discreet hints of minerality and almost a hint of varietal in the background.
