Domaine La Part des Anges 2021 – Butcher – AOP Côtes du Roussillon Villages

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of blackberry, bright/tangy purple plum and small notes of violet associated with touches of red berries, crushed redcurrants as well as hints of bay leaf and a hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, acidity as well as a nice burst/acidity of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, juicy cherry and small notes of purple plum associated with touches of liquorice stick, blond tobacco, a hint of toasted almond, crushed hazelnut, infusion as well as a discreet hint of bay leaf and a subtle hint almost of clove. A fine hint of austerity in the background.
