Domaine La Banate – Vieilles Vignes 2015 – Côtes du Rhône Villages, Rousset-les-Vignes

The nose is fruity and offers power and concentration. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, plum and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of cassis, sense of the place as well as a discreet hint of violet, liquorice stick and a discreet hint of pepper. the palate is fruity, fresh, elegant and offers gourmandize, generosity as well as a good volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy/juicy plum and small notes of violet associated with touches of bigarreau cherry, thyme flowers and a touch of crunchy/juicy raspberry. Tannins are elegant and structuring. Good length.
