The nose is fruity and offers freshness, a fine intensity as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, black cherry, small notes of plum associated with fine touches of cassis as well as hints of racy minerality/clay and cornflower. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, tension, precision as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous Quetsche plum, cassis and small notes of black blackberry associated with a hint of red cherry as well as touches of tonka bean, liquorice and a very discreet hint of blond tobacco/spices. Tannins are elegant and fine. Good length and persistence.
