The nose is powerful and offers a beautiful intensity as well as deepness. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe/crushed small black fruits and small notes of raspberry associated with small touches of caramelization, liquorice and fine hints of cornflower. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, tension as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, blackberry and small notes of acidulous plum associated with fine touches of cherry, small red berries, violet as well as fine hints of sweet spices, toasted almond and a discreet hint of tobacco. Tannins are finely marked. A small chew on the finish/persistence. A beautiful wine which requires patience.
