The palate is elegant, delicate and offers power (full of control), a small fleshiness, a fine intensity as well as an acidulous frame, a beautiful racy minerality, tension and deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, juicy/bright black plum, small notes of blackberry associated with touches of crunchy red cherry, small berries as well as a subtle hint of liquorice stick, camphor, a racy minerality, a subtle hint of incense, zan and spices. Good length. Tannins are fine and finely firm. A hint of caramelization/mocha and coffee on the persistence. A fine firmness on the finish.
