The nose is racy, elegant and offers a good structure, power, finesse as well as power. It reveals notes of ripe small black berries, cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with discreet hints of crunchy blueberry, fresh flowers, cardamom, racy minerality, liquorice stick, Cuben pepper and bud. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful suavity, a beautiful fat, fleshiness, generosity, a beautiful aromatic purity of the fruit, a fine acidulous frame, a small tension, a beautiful gourmandize, a very beautiful finesse as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses note of fleshy cassis, fleshy plum and small notes of violet, fleshy/juicy Boysen berry, ripe/fleshy raspberry associated with touches of liquorice stick/chocolate, fleshy blueberry, discreet hints of toasted, almond and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and structured. Very discreet chews on the finish. There are hints of toasted almond, dark chocolate and toasted oak on the finish/persistence. Good length. A very beautiful wine! Beautiful ageing potential.
