The nose is fresh and fruity with a mix of black and red fruits such as black cherry and raspberry. We also perceive notes of nice leather, almost buttery toast and smoke. The second nose opens more intensely with a floral aspect of violet as well as small fruits such as raspberry and wild berries. The palate is tannic, fresh and intense. We have a nice chew around the black fruit with a nice salivating acidity. We perceive the little juicy morello cherry on the finish. It is long, full, invigorating with a light bitterness in a pleasant finish.
