The nose is fruity, aromatic, structured and offers a fine power/concentration. It reveals notes of Quetsche plum and small notes of blackberry, violet associated with discreet hints of fleshy small blue fruits, fleshy wild strawberry, flowers as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper, spices, nutmeg, cardamom and very discreet hints of caramelized oak/nut. The palate is beautifully fruity, elegant, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful definition, finesse, a small concentration, generosity, an fine acidulous frame, a beautiful matter, tension, a good structure as well as a good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis and juicy/crunchy Quetsche plum associated with small touches of fleshy raspberry, toasted, Sichuan pepper and camphor. Tannins are elegant and fine. Good length. Chews on the finish. Good persistence. There is a very discreet hint of cocoa, mild tobacco and almond on the finish/persistence.
