The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, racy and offers a good definition, juiciness, minerality/a racy minerality, gourmandize as well as silkiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, blackberry and small notes of plum associated with touches of cassis, cornflower, hints of mild tobacco/zan, cardamom and a very discreet hint of almond (in the background). Good length. There are hints of dark chocolate on the finish. Very fine chews on the aftertaste.
