The nose is fruity, mineral, beautifully elegant, racy and offers concentration, a good finesse of the grain, complexity as well as a fine power (in the background). It reveals notes of cherry, plum and small notes of wild raspberry associated with fine touches of fleshy black fruits, graphite, Sichuan pepper as well as hints of chocolate, flowers and toasted. The palate is fruity, juicy, sweet, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, elegance, tension, a small aerial side, a fine acidulous frame, a small richness as well as a beautiful fleshy matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy Quetsche plum, violet and small notes of cherry associated with fine touches of raspberry, ripe red berries, flowers (violet, cornflower) as well as hints of liquorice, cardamom and toasted. Tannins are elegant. Good length.
