Domaine Haut Ventenac – L’Autrement 2020 – Francs Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

(No added sulfites) The nose is fruity and offers concentration, well-mastered power, intensity (precision) as well as freshness. It reveals notes of bright wild cassis, bright blackberry and small notes of purple plum associated with touches of violet, strawberry as well as hints of licorice stick, slight hints of violet and pepper. The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, a good definition, a certain gourmandize and a fine intensity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cassis and small hints of bright raspberry combined with touches of violet plum, cherry blossom and hints of liquorice. Good length. Tannins are precise and fine.
