The nose is racy, elegant with a fine richness and concentration. There are notes of crushed boysenberry, Bigarreau cherry and, more slightly, pulpy plum, combined with fine touches of strawberry, violet and hints of blueberry, liquorice and there is a very discreet note of cubeb pepper. The palate is fruity with an acidic structure, juiciness, minerality, tension, accuracy, energy and harmony. It is dynamic on the palate with good definition and a certain gourmandise. There are notes of juicy, plump blackberries, cherries and, more slightly, crushed redcurrants combined with hints of juicy, plump plums and liquorice and a subtle saline, almost vanilla note in the background. There is good length and definition.
