Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur – En Vaut 2018 – Volnay

The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of crunchy blackberry, violet, small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with fine touches of lilac, crunchy strawberry as well as fine hints of dry mild tobacco and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, suavity, gourmandize as well as a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy black herry, juicy questch plum and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of strawberry as well as a subtle hint of lily, mild tobacco, liquorice stick and nutmeg/sweet spices. Tannins are elegant and structuring. A very discreet chew on the persistence.
