Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits « Les Dames Huguette » 2022 – Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits

The wine has a bright ruby color of medium intensity. The nose expresses juiciness, ripe and concentrated fruit. We find notes of crushed morello cherry, morello cherry jam, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, a touch of cranberry jam, associated with floral notes of violet, fresh rose, a touch of mint, as well as with a subtle spiciness (liquorice, even a delicate touch of star anise, nutmeg, cloves). The palate is fresh, juicy, with velvety tannins, finely tight and slightly bitter. It also expresses gourmand fruity notes (wild strawberry, red cherry jam, juicy morello cherry, raspberry, a hint of blueberry), associated with a savoury spiciness (nutmeg, white pepper, touch of licorice), a floral note (lily) and a fine touch of meat and smoke. The finish is persistent, slightly smoky and toasted. Beautiful lively and salivating acidity, good bitterness, the tannins are a little dry on the finish.
