The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is rich, but airy and fresh: it combines notes of juicy stone fruits (yellow peach, ripe apricot), tasty spicy aromas (vanilla, a touch of nutmeg and coriander seeds), woody hints (hazelnut toasted, heated wood in the background) with notes of dried mint, white flowers (acacia, apple blossom) and the liveliness of citrus fruits (crushed lemon, lemon zest, grapefruit) and green apple. The mouth is tasty and enveloping. It expresses the chiseled notes of citrus fruits in attack (yellow lemon zest, lemon juice, a good bitterness of grapefruit and lime), which is then completed by flavors of juicy and crunchy stone fruits (apricot, peach white), with woody and spicy notes (toasted wood in the background, a touch of vanilla and nutmeg) and a floral bouquet (acacia, apple blossom, linden). The finish offers tension, a delicate bitterness and a sharp acidity, balanced by a touch of honey which appears at the very end of the palate. Good persistence and nice freshness.
