Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur – Aux Saint-Julien 2020 – Nuits-Saint-Georges

Pretty fresh nose, aromatic, fine, elegant which offers crunch as well as harmony. It reveals notes of fresh violet, fresh lily, and more slightly – notes of racy minerality associated with touches of morello cherry, and fresh violet plum as well as slight hints of liquorice and chocolate/toast. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality / a mineral frame, fatness, harmony, gourmandize, delicacy as well as a certain suavity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/tangy cherry, juicy/tangy raspberry, and more slightly – hints of bright berries associated with touches of racy minerality, lily/lilac, star anise as well as a subtle hint of fresh tobacco. The tannins are fresh, and elegant and offer a slight chewiness. Good length.
