Domaine Grand – Vin Jaune 2012 – Côtes du Jura

The nose is elegant, fruity, racy and offers a fine richness, a fine concentration as well as a small power. It reveals notes of quince, dried citrus and small notes of juicy apple associated with a touch of zest, hints of butter, hazelnut, spices as well as a very discreet hint of white flowers and juicy orange (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fresh / acidulous frame, dynamism, a fine tension, a racy minerality as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe / juicy lemon, dried citrus and small notes of plum associated with a fine touch of quince, fresh almond, white flowers / fresh herbs as well as very discreet hints of fresh walnuts and butter. Good length.
