The nose is fruity, gourmand and quite elegant. It reveals notes of Bigarreau / griotte cherry, blackberry and cassis associated with fine touches of garrigue, racy minerality as well as subtle hints of licorice and an imperceptible hint of black olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fat and offers a nice mineral frame, suavity, density, concentration, a good guideline, a good structure, a fine acidity, a fine unctuosity as well as a fine acidity (in the background). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed cherry, crushed blueberry and blackberry combined with slight hints of jammy red fruits, plum, licorice as well as a subtle hint of caramelized wood and chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length and good persistence. The finish is slightly powerful.
