The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is a little reserved at first and requires aeration. It then expresses the aromas of tangy black fruits (blueberry, morello cherry, blackcurrant in the background), red fruits (red cherry, red currant, crushed raspberry), a fine spiciness (white pepper, a hint of cumin and liquorice), as well as a floral touch (dried rose, dried cornflower). The mouth is open, juicy, fresh and very fruity. It expresses notes of crushed red cherry, raspberry coulis, redcurrant jelly, strawberry and blueberry, combined with notes of fresh peony, dried rose and a fine spiciness (liquorice, white pepper). The tannins are fine and slightly perceptible on the finish. Good persistence, slightly minty. A gourmet wine, with beautiful acidity, fruit and freshness.
