Domaine Gaston & Pierre Ravaut 2022 – Côtes de Nuits Villages

The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is bright and fruity, with notes of expressive tangy red fruits (raspberry, red cherry, crunchy strawberry, cranberry, fresh red currant), combined with delicate peppery, toasted, liquorice and nutmeg notes, as well as a hint of violet, dried mint and blackcurrant. The palate is juicy, fruity, and taut, with marked acidity and polished tannins. It expresses notes of red cherry, cranberry, raspberry and crunchy strawberry, combined with spicy flavors of white pepper, licorice, as well as a herbaceous hint of dried mint and blackcurrant leaf in the background. The finish is quite persistent, with a slight toasted bitterness and juicy notes of ripe morello cherry and blackcurrant. A fruity, fresh wine with an airy structure.
