The wine has a bright pale ruby color. The nose offers aromas of juicy fruits (red cherry, raspberry, crisp strawberry, blueberry, crushed blackcurrant), combined with a touch of smoke and toasted wood, a delicate minerality (limestone, stony rock), as well as a touch of white pepper, liquorice and vanilla in the background, as well as a hint of peony. The palate is tight and bitter on the attack, with grippy tannins that appear gradually. It then expresses notes of wild small cherry with its bitter and tannic touch, red cherry, tangy cranberries, raspberry, as well as blackcurrant leaves, liquorice, white pepper, smoke and toast. Tannins are firm, even astringent, the finish is persistent, very tangy.
