The nose is aromatic, powerful and intense. It reveals notes of dried quince, dried citrus fruit and mirabelle plum associated with fine touches of Zante currants, acacia, spices, nutmeg, discreet hints of butter as well as an imperceptible hint of iris and pepper. The palate is fruity, delicate, suave, soft, well-balanced, elegant, a bit on the retained and offers a mineral frame (beautiful minerality), a very fine unctuosity, tension, a good freshness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of yellow plum, quince and small notes of dried peach combined with fine touches of lemon / dried mandarin as well as small hints of butter / apple butter, gunflint and spices. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of pâtisseries and fresh almond on the persistence.
