The nose is fruity and offers a slight juiciness as well as a small power. It reveals notes of ripe cherry, ripe redcurrant and slight notes of blackberry associated with a hint of small berries, gravels / earth as well as slight touches of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, a slight tension, fat and a slight mineral frame (racy minerality). On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, cassis and slight notes of redcurrant / wild strawberry associated with touches of toasted oak, subtle hints of vanilla, small notes of minerality almost saline as well as a very discreet hint of zan and an imperceptible hint of chocolate (in the background). The finish is slightly powerful. There is a hint of gray pepper on the persistence. Tannins are a bit young (2019).
