The nose is fruity, structured and offers a very fine concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, violet and small notes of wild small fruits associated with fine touches of red fruits, Sichuan pepper and incense. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, silky, delicate and offers a beautiful definition, a fine tension as well as a beautiful acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe red cherry, blackberry and small notes of violet plum associated with touches of wild small fruits, flowers (violet, cornflower) as well as discreet hints of chocolate, oak/vanilla, a very discreet hint of liquorice, incense and an imperceptible hint of sugared mild tobacco (in the background). Tannins are elegant and beautifully built. Good length.
