The nose is elegant, racy and offers a beautiful definition, a small complexity as well as a slight richness. It reveals notes of boysenberry, fleshy cherry and small notes of sweet spices associated with touches of crushed strawberry, small black fruits, delicate hints of blueberry, Bourbon vanilla, chocolate, toasted almond as well as a subtle hint of sweet spices, sense of the place (local biotop) and a very discreet hint almost cornflowers/lily. The palate is fruity, elegant, delicate and offers subtlety, gourmandize, a beautiful racy minerality, a nice sapidity, a beautiful structure as well as harmony. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, crushed strawberry and small notes of bright plum, bright cherry associated with a fine touch of blueberry / small black fruits, cornflowers, Bourbon vanilla as well as a hint of of chocolate and roasted almond. Tannins are precise, well-balanced and elegant. Good length. Beautiful persistence with a very discreet hint of leather in the background.
