The nose is fruity, elegant, precise, beautifully built, framed and offers a certain straightness in elegance. It reveals notes of ripe violet plum, violet and small notes of Garriguette strawberry associated with small touches of cornflowers, small blue fruits, a hint of crushed raspberry, nutmeg, chocolate as well as a hint of racy minerality, green cardamom, a subtle hint of sense of place, salinity and Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, elegant, delicate and offers power, richness in precision, ” sobriety ” (in the good sense of the term, I mean well-mastered / precision), an acidulous frame, a beautiful structure as well as a certain richness precisely mastered. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of rose associated with touches of small crushed red berries, tonka bean, Bourbon vanilla, a hint of sweet blond tobacco as well as a hint of toasted hazelnut and a subtle hint of sweet spices. Tannins are precise, elegant, suave, structuring and offer a fine chew. A very beautiful work on the bitterness, especially on the finish. Good length and beautiful persistence.
