The nose offers power and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of cherry, small wild berries and small notes of cornflower, blackberry associated with fine touches of pepper, Ceylan tea and spices. The palate is elegant, gourmand, beautifully mineral and offers a fine acidulous frame, roundness as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, juicy plum, cornflower, graphite, racy minerality as well as discreet hints of liquorice and caramelization/cocoa. Tannins are elegant.
