Domaine du Vistre – Gladiateur 2024 – Costières de Nîmes

(Rolle 35%, Grenache blanc 50%, Roussane 15%) The nose is aromatic, finely textured and offers a certain deepness. There are notes of creamy white fruit and white flowers associated with a hint of sage, fine, almost carambola-like hints and discreet citrus hints. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers a tangy frame, precision, fine tension, acidity and a fine straightness/stretch side. In mouth this wine expresses notes of lychee, crisp brugnon, flowers and small notes of honeysuckle associated with touches of gunflint, salinity as well as an almost sappy hint on the finish/persistence. Saline, iodized, floral side and a fine hint of good, sappy bitterness in the background.
