The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers accuracy and complexity. The first nose expresses notes of smoke, roasted bouquet garni and roasted meat (in the background), which are then completed with concentrated notes of ripe fruit (morello cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, redcurrant jelly and black plum in background), sweet spices (liquorice, nutmeg, cumin), dried mint and dried rose. On the palate, the wine is juicy and generous and offers complexity and depth, with finesse. It expresses the flavors of wild strawberry, raspberry, red plum, black plum, red cherry and morello cherry, combined with notes of roasted aromatic herbs (roasted bouquet garni), smoke, roasted meat, sweet spices (nutmeg, liquorice, ground cumin) and dried rose. The tannins have a fine texture, as well as a firm, but not drying structure. The finish is persistent, tasty, with integrated toasted and smoky notes, as well as refreshing acidity. An expressive, structured and elegant wine.
