Domaine du Pas de L’Escalette – Les Clapas 2019 – Languedoc

The nose is fruity and fleshy. It reveals notes of fleshy apple, lychee and small notes of lemon associated with touches of flowers of thyme, sage, yuzu as well as fine mineral hints and a very discreet hint of olive leaf. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers freshness, gourmandize, minerality, a small chiseled side, an acidulous frame, roundness as well as a fine incisive side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lychee, pulpy vine peach and small notes of pine sap associated with touches of sage, verbena, hints of white flowers as well as subtle hints of yuzu, lemon green and almond. Good length.
