The nose is slightly tight and offers power as well as a certain concentration. It reveals notes of small wild red berries, wild blackberry, small notes of pulpy violet plum associated with touches of black olive, cuben pepper, varietal/olive leaf as well as hints of sweet spices, dark chocolate, vanilla and fine hints of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, precision, gourmandize, a small richness, a fine grain, vivacity as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy/pulpy cherry, small notes of wild redcurrant associated with touches of red plum, cherry blossom as well as hints of toasted, dark chocolate/mocha, hazelnut, black olive, toasted almond and a discreet hint of coffee. Tannins are structuring and very finely sticky. Good length and persistence in fine varietal hints and a hint of good bitterness.
